Mr. V. N. Bhattacharya
is a seasoned management professional with twenty-eight years experience
in diverse industries in India and abroad. He has created new businesses,
turned around loss-making propositions, revived dormant ones and restructured
in difficult times.
A Chemical Engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Calcutta,
he started his career in Hindustan Lever. Over time, in other companies,
he handled national responsibilities in sales, marketing and customer
service. He worked as Chief Executive Officer of BPL Telecom Ltd.,
a telecom engineering and networking company before setting up his
consulting practice. His work in diverse industries - FMCG, capital
goods, hospitality, automobiles and telecommunications - in India
and abroad has given him rare breadth of perspective and world-view.
He combines strong conceptual skills with focus on execution. Now
an independent management consultant: he works in the area of Strategy
Sales, Marketing, and Business Strategies. He advises and assists
firms to formulate and implement winning strategies for growth and competitiveness.
